The Buckeyes “blacked out” the Badgers

Ohio State defeated the Badgers 52-21 at The Shoe during their first Big Ten game of the season.

The Buckeyes scored twice within the first six minutes and six seconds of Saturday’s gamebut the feeling of electricity in The Shoe started long before that.

We stepped onto the sidelines to preview the game + stayed there during pre-game. We were instantly hit with sights and sounds of tradition, community, and pride. O-H-I-O was chanted across the stadium while cheerleaders, fans, Brutus Buckeye, and the players were wearing all black.

By the time TBDBITL dotted the “I” in Script Ohio, the energy was undeniable. It translated to the players’ performances as C.J. Stroud + Cade Stover partnered up for the first two touchdowns of the game — and Stover’s first two touchdowns ever as he literally flipped into the end zone.

OSU didn’t stop there — not even close. They finished with a 52-21 victory. And they’ll be back at it in The Shoe next Saturday for homecoming. Go Bucks. 🏈
