While exact weather conditions typically can’t be predicted more than a week in advance, here’s a seasonal outlook to help you prepare for what fall will bring.

Temperature
Fall may feel pretty toasty — Columbus is predicted to have temperatures leaning 40-50% above normal this season.
Precipitation
Don’t anticipate too much rainfall — autumn should bring the typical amount of precipitation in CBUS.

Enjoy the first feelings of fall over these next couple of weeks. The September high averages 76.1° and the low dips to 57.7°. Plus, no need to keep your umbrella handy — this month typically has the least amount of rainfall.
Oh hay, October
Fall foliage will start to peak, and cooler weather will close in. If you’ve been hiding from the humidity all year, this is the time you’ve been waiting for. October is the least humid month, with average relative humidity of 73%.

It’s time to break out the mittens and hats. Cold and snow begin to creep in throughout November, with the average daily high dropping to 49.6°. The wind speed also typically increases to 8.4 mph.
